LASA Ranked Best High School in Texas

School data site Niche released its annual rankings of public high schools this week, ranking the Liberal Arts and Science Academy as the best in Texas.

Rankings are based on factors including state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, student and parent reviews, and more. 

"We are proud of the hard work of the students and teachers at Liberal Arts Science Academy, which has once again been recognized on a national level," said Superintendent Paul Cruz. "We congratulate them for this prestigious recognition of their efforts." 

In the Austin metro area, five AISD high schools were ranked among the top 25: Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders (No. 6), Bowie (14), McCallum (15), Anderson (16) and Austin (18).
