Helping your ADD child...
October 7, 2009 - Meeting
Does your child struggle with staying organized?
Join our meeting on October 13, 7:00 pm, and hear Leigh Brown, a Special Education teacher at Oak Hill Elementary and mother of two grown children with ADD, talk about helping your ADD child stay organized, both at school and at home. When? Tuesday October 13, 7:00-8:30 pm with free childcare and free pizza starting at 6:30pm Where? Rosedale School 2117 West 49th St (Just west of the intersection of 49th and Burnet) The Austin Area CHADD organization sponsors these meetings with the Family support Cooperative, where parents share, learn and grow as the parent of a student with ADD/ADHD. This free group is led by Austin’s premier ADD/ADHD guru, Linda Classen. Other meetings will be on Nov. 10 and Dec. 8. The meetings are hosted by The Family Support Cooperative, a collaboration of AISD, Austin Travis County MHMR and The Arc of the Capital Area.
