Mission Statement

We, the staff of Barbara Jordan Elementary believe our purpose is to educate all students in high levels of academic performance, positive social growth and multicultural awareness. By mastering grade level objectives, our students will be adaptable to a variety of assessment criteria and technologically geared toward the twenty-first century. We accept the responsibility in cooperation with parents and community to teach all students so they can attain their maximum potential.
