Mission Statement

The mission of the Dawson School community is to work together to develop each child's greatest potential and to help each student become a life-long learner and a productive citizen.

Dawson Elementary has instituted a Time Banking Program since January, 1995. Through this program, the school day for students is lengthened by fifteen minutes four days a week and is shortened by one hour on Mondays. The Time Banking Program provides time for teachers to attend School Improvement Meetings every Monday from 2:00-3:30.
