Communication Services staff:

• Disseminate information about student performance as it relates to the state's accountability system, district's benchmarks and student achievement.
• Communicate effectively with parents on matters of student achievement, district performance, policies and guidelines. (Chalk Talk, Austin InSiDer, )
• Communicate with news media by providing factual information related to student performance, staff achievement, district policies, goals, accomplishments and challenges.
• Develop public awareness initiatives that spotlight the success of students, campuses and the district.
• Respond to inquiries and request for information from parents, the general public, and members of the news media.

Media Services staff:

• Cablecast Board of Trustee meetings, work sessions, and other events on Time Warner Cable Channel 22.
• Provide videos which highlight student and faculty achievements.
• Disseminate news and information about AISD.
