Management Information Systems provides applications programming, applications support and reporting services for the Austin Independent School District.

Applications programming comprises custom development to meet unique AISD needs, as well as providing interfaces for vendor-supplied applications, generating complex data sets from multiple sources and maintenance of the AISD Intranet and Internet.

Applications support provides technical help desk support for customers on all applications currently in use at the District level, applications administration, configuration and upgrade support for vendor supplied applications as well as conducting customer training and producing documentation related to all supported applications.

Reporting services include the generation of report cards, a variety of printed and mailed material relating to student, staff and community requirements, producing web-based and on-demand reports supplying administrators and educators with information on which to make sound educational choices, supporting the PEIMS reporting process, Freedom of Information Act requests, structured reporting to support grant applications and programs, and other ad-hoc requests for information.
