We extend a warm welcome to those wishing to do business with the Austin Independent School District (AISD or the "District"). It is our goal to make our relationship friendly and mutually rewarding. If you sell a commodity or service, you can probably do business with AISD. Our principal objective is to acquire goods and services at a fair and reasonable price. We are constantly seeking new sources and welcome your participation.

CURRENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received in the AISD Purchasing Office, Suite A330, 1111 West 6th Street, Austin, Texas 78703-5399, in accordance with the instructions and specifications applicable to each solicitation request. Formal bids are solicited through newspaper advertisement and bids are publicly opened and read aloud on the date and time indicated.

The bids can be downloaded in PDF format by clicking on the title of the Bids listed in the table above.  The online copy contains all required bid forms and information. The bid/proposal must be executed and submitted to the  Purchasing Department using the forms provided and in the manner specified therein.

If you have questions concerning the bid specifications please contact the Buyer listed in the bid/proposal.  Only the AISD Purchasing Buyer is authorized  to answer questions regarding  bid specifications.  If the Buyer cannot answer your questions an addendum will be issued.

Only written Addenda shall be binding.  Any information you obtain from the end user will not be legally binding and can be cause for your bid being rejected.

PLEASE NOTE:  ANYONE WHO DOWNLOADS A BID/PROPOSAL SOLICITATION MUST REGISTER WITH THE  PURCHASING OFFICE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ANY ADDENDA THAT ARE ISSUED. ADDENDA WILL BE POSTED IN THE SAME MANNER AS THE SOLICITATION AND MAY BE REQUESTED FROM THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT.

The following information is required for registration on each solicitation that you download: bid number and title, your company name, contact person  (optional), email address, fax and telephone number, and your preference to receive notification by email or fax.

FAILURE TO REGISTER WHEN DOWNLOADING A BID/PROPOSAL SOLICITATION SHALL BE A WAIVER OF THE  RIGHT TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ADDENDA FOR THAT BID.  POTENTIAL BIDDERS WHO FAIL TO  REGISTER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING THIS WEB SITE TO ASCERTAIN IF ADDENDA HAVE BEEN ISSUED.
