On October 25, 2009, the Board of Trustees approved the FY 2010-2011 Budget Parameters which serve as a guideline in developing the preliminary budget that is due in late February. In the month of November, the administration will present the proposed FY 2010-2011 budget calendar, budget assumptions, staffing guidelines, and staffing formulas to the Board of Trustees on November 9th for review and discussion and November 23rd for final adoption. These documents will also be presented to the Citizen Budget Review Committee on November 10th. The annual budget workshops to develop detailed budget plans will be conducted on December 4th for departments and January 7th and 8th for campuses.

Also, in an effort to increase the level of community engagement and feedback on the budget, the superintendent will host two community conversations on the budget on November 12th at Anderson High School, 6:00 - 8:30 pm and December 3rd at Travis High School, 6:00 - 8:30 pm.
