2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Install additional exterior security lighting
• Improve storm/site drainage in selected areas
• Resurface playslab
• Replace perimeter fencing
• Construct track around playslab
• Replace canopy support columns
• Replace exterior metal doors, frames and hardware
• Repair/replace approximately 38,000 square feet of built-up roofing
• Replace windows in west and east classroom wings
• Remodel/renovate administration area
• Replace sinks, storage cabinets and counter tops in east classroom wing
• Install emergency egress lighting
• Replace ceiling tile in gym, cafeteria and east classroom wing
• Replace floor covering in selected locations
• Replace deteriorated exhaust fans in restrooms
• Install additional electrical outlets in various locations
• Install safety and security enhancements

Improve drainage and security lighting at Memorial Garden; additional exterior security lighting; replace windows in east and west classroom wings; replace deteriorated exterior doors, frames and hardware; replace perimeter fencing; construct accessible track around playslab; replace wood support columns at canopy; replace sinks, storage cabinets and counter tops in east classroom wing; replace worn floor covering in five locations; remodel administration area for efficiency and to accommodate special needs; replace deteriorated/non-functioning exhaust fans in restrooms; install additional electrical outlets in various locations; install emergency egress lighting; safety and security enhancements.	Complete.	Within budget.*	Paired with Bryker Woods Elementary School project.	Recommendations of the sustainability consultant will be considered and implemented where feasible.

Replace approximately 38,000 square feet of built-up roofing.	Complete.	Over budget.*	Grouped with one other school.	White reflective roofing was used on project.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
