2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Install additional exterior security lighting

Install additional exterior security lighting; replace grease trap; replace deteriorated sanitary sewer lines between building and street; replace deteriorated sanitary sewer and domestic water lines under kitchen; install cast iron protective boots at downspouts; remove deteriorated door and infill with masonry at stage loft; remove abandoned heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment; install heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit for room 33.	Complete.	Over budget.*	Paired with Allan Elementary School project.
Repair/replace approximately 21,500 square feet in built-up roofing.	Complete.	Within budget.*		New replacement roof systems will provide increased thermal efficiency and solar reflectivity.
Drainage, ventilation and accessibility improvements.	Complete.	Under budget. Funded with 2002 Bond Program funds.*	Grouped with seven other facilities.	Environmental considerations are limited to on-site drainage projects. Care was taken to avoid excess soil erosion during construction.
Safety and security: card reader door access, door repair.	Complete.	Within budget.*	Grouped with three other schools.
Safety and security: closed circuit TV.	Complete.	Within budget.*	Grouped with four other schools.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
