2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Install additional exterior security lighting
• Improve storm/site drainage in selected areas
• Apply new fireproofing to structure below southwest classroom wing
• Repair/replace metal wall panels above windows in the north and south classroom wings
• Repair/replace deteriorated exterior doors, frames and hardware
• Repair/replace approximately 30,000 square feet of built-up roofing
• Replace window wall system at gym/cafeteria hallway and in cafeteria
• Renovate selected boys’ and girls’ group restrooms
• Replace damaged ceiling tile above stage
• Repair/replace damaged interior doors and frames
• Replace deteriorated exhaust fans
• Install emergency egress lighting
• Replace main sanitary sewer line from street to building
• Expand/renovate cafeteria, kitchen, serving line and dry storage
• Install playslab cover
• Install safety and security enhancements

2008 Bond Program Scope of Work

Phases

Current	Schedule	Budget	General	Environmental
Improve storm/site drainage in selected areas, replace interior and exterior doors, cafeteria windows, wall panels, accessibility modifications, expand kitchen, site grading, safety and security enhancements, plumbing improvements, replace roofing and repair outside stucco.	Complete.	Under budget.*	After field investigations, it was determined that proper drainage improvements should offset any ventilation requirements to control moisture in crawlspaces.	Environmental considerations are limited to on-site drainage projects. Care was taken to avoid excess soil erosion during construction. Glazing selection for reduced heat gain. New roof system will provide increased thermal efficiency and solar reflectivity.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
