2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Install additional exterior security lighting
• Repair/replace metal wall panels in 100 and 200-classroom wings
• Replace deteriorated exterior wood doors with new metal doors, frames and hardware
• Repair/replace approximately 4,700 square feet in built-up roofing on 100 and 200-classroom wing canopies
• Replace deteriorated exterior windows at 100, 200 and 300-classroom wings, administration area and cafeteria
• Replace deteriorated ceilings in 200-classroom wing
• Replace drinking foundations in 100 and 200-classroom wings
• Install new exhaust fans and refurbish individual classroom restrooms
• Repair/refurbish student/faculty restrooms
• Install emergency egress lighting
• Replace canopy light fixtures
• Replace sanitary sewer lines serving kitchen
• Install playslab cover
• Install safety and security enhancements

Complete.	Over budget.*	Paired with renovation work at Travis Heights Elementary School.	All architectural renovations and materials used will conform to local, state and federal regulations with respect to environmental compliance.

Safety and security: closed circuit TV.	Complete.	Under budget.*	Grouped with four other schools.
Heating and air conditioning improvements.	Construction phase.		Project was on hold pending pilot program at Ann Richards School; pilot program was successful, moving forward with project.	All new mechanical systems will meet and exceed the latest energy standards.
Safety and security: card reader door access and door repair.	Complete.	Within budget.*	Grouped with three other schools.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
