2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Construct retaining wall and improve surface drainage on east side of building
• Repair/replace floor structure joists at room 6
• Refurbish/replace deteriorated exterior doors, frames, and hardware
• Repair/replace approximately 22,000 square feet of built-up roofing
• Repair/replace exterior window wall systems at classrooms
• Repair/restore deteriorated plaster walls
• Refurbish/replace worn/damaged cabinets and chalkboards in classrooms
• Renovate/refurbish student and faculty restrooms
• Replace toilet partitions in restroom adjacent to library
• Replace deteriorated exhaust fans in restrooms, custodial closet, and teachers’ workroom
• Replace ventilation system equipment in various locations
• Install playslab cover
• Install safety and security enhancements

2008 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Technology upgrades
• Cafeteria and kitchen improvements

Construct retaining wall and improve surface drainage on east side of building. Regrade portions of site.	Complete.	Under budget.*	Focus of work to eliminate water intrusion into crawlspaces, provide ventilation of crawlspaces. Grouped with three other schools.
Replace 22,000 square feet of built-up roofing.	Complete.	Over budget.*	Grouped with one other school.	White reflective roofing was used on project.
Repair and replace deteriorated floor joint, refurbish and replace exterior door frames and hardware, repair/replace exterior window wall systems, renovate restrooms, install playslab cover, repair plaster walls, refurbish cabinets and chalkboards in classrooms, replace exhaust fans in restrooms, install independent heating and air conditioning system for cafeteria, install safety and security enhancements.	Complete.	Within budget.*	Paired with Rosedale School project.	Recommendations of the sustainability consultant will be considered and implemented where feasible.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
