2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Replace canopy light fixtures
• Repair/replace approximately 16,000 square feet of built-up roofing
• Repair/replace deteriorated windows in various locations
• Repair interior plaster walls in selected classrooms

• Renovate/refurbish student group and faculty restrooms

Phases

Current	Schedule	Budget	General	Environmental
Repair/replace approximately 16,000 square feet of built-up roofing.	Complete.	Within budget.*		New replacement roof systems will provide increased thermal efficiency and solar reflectivity.
Drainage improvements. Install underground drain line from courtyard north of cafeteria and regrade portion of site around perimeter of building.	Complete.	Under budget.*	After field investigations, it was determined that proper drainage improvements should offset any ventilation requirements to control moisture in crawlspaces.	Environmental considerations are limited to on-site drainage projects. Care will be taken to avoid excess soil erosion during construction.
Replace canopy light fixtures, replace grease trap, install play slab cover, add concrete splash blocks, repair interior walls, install water resistant wall surface, construction of acoustical barrier at mechanical room.	Complete.	Over budget.*		Green building strategies were used.
Replace windows, renovate bathrooms, install ventilation system controls, replace water lines, replace sewer piping, install safety and security enhancements.	Complete.	Over budget.*		All work will address sustainability measures.
Construct canopy at southwest corner entry.	Construction phase.	Within budget.*	Grouped with project at Brown Elementary School.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
