2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Install downspouts at north entry and connect to storm sewer system
• Construct pump room for elevator sump
• Install sealant and waterproofing at exterior wall in selected areas
• Replace exterior painted metal wall panels and trim with prefinished metal panels
• Seal all masonry control joints and cracks
• Repair/replace approximately 10,000 square feet of built-up roofing
• Construct acoustical improvements at 600-classroom wing mechanical room
• Install roll-up doors at cafeteria serving line
• Replace lab tables in science classrooms
• Replace cabinet work in selected classrooms
• Repair/replace/modify ventilation system equipment
• Replace electrical panelboards in selected locations
• Replace boiler at boys’ locker room
• Replace lab sinks and repair plumbing service in various science classrooms

Safety and security: closed circuit TV.	Complete.	Under budget.*	Grouped with three other schools.
Safety and security: card reader door access and door repair.	Complete.	Within budget.*	Grouped with three other schools.
Route downspouts to storm drains, water proof exterior wall, heating and air condition upgrades, replacement of electric panels, replacement of science room sinks and casework, elevator upgrades, replace exterior wall panels; provide acoustical improvements at 600-classroom wing, install metal roll-up doors and cafeteria, replace tables in science classrooms, install new classroom cabinets, replace boy’s locker room boiler.	Complete.	Within budget.*		Project used all green building strategies.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
