2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Improve storm/site drainage at building perimeter
• Install building wall protection in service area
• Clean and reseal exterior wall panels
• Repair/replace deteriorated sections of metal roofing and soffits
• Repair/replace roll-up grates and security gate
• Repair/replace broken seats in theater
• Repair/replace science classroom lab tables
• Replace damaged ceilings in selected areas
• Refurbish exterior and interior metal doors and frames
• Replace worn floor covering and base in selected areas
• Repair/replace door hardware at band hall and cafeteria
• Renovate/refurbish student and faculty restrooms
• Repair/replace/modify selected ventilation system equipment
• Install plaster trap for one sink in each art room
• Convert one regular classroom into an art room
• Install safety and security enhancements
• Replace heating, cooling and ventilation system equipment at cafeteria
• Replace bleachers

Re-establish/stabilize soil retainers at crawl space and re-grade perimeter of foundations where erosion has occurred; replace deteriorated sealant between wall panels; renovate/refurbish student and faculty toilets; refurbish exterior and interior metal doors and frames; repair/replace science classroom tables; repair/replace door hardware at band hall and cafeteria; install plastic trap for one sink in each art room; replace rusted gates at crawl space areaways; install bollards to protect building walls in service area; clean and reseal exterior wall panels; replace damaged ceilings at fine arts and wood shop areas; replace worn floor covering and base in building C; repair/replace three roll-up grates at main entrance lobby and security gate at small gym; repair/replace broken seats at theater; repair/replace two heating, ventilation and air conditioning system condenser pumps; convert one regular classroom into an art room. Substantially complete. Within budget.* Heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment replaced with energy efficient units.
Repair/replace deteriorated sections of metal roofing. Complete. Under budget.* New replacement roof system will provide increased thermal efficiency and solar reflectivity. Work includes metal roof repair.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
