2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Repair/reseal north parking lot
• Replace deteriorated exterior doors, frames and hardware
• Repair/replace approximately 34,000 square feet of built-up roofing
• Replace windows at west 200-classroom wing and other selected areas
• Refurbish/replace damaged interior doors and hardware
• Refinish/replace lockers in boys’ and girls’ PE dressing rooms
• Renovate/refurbish student restrooms
• Replace/upgrade ventilation system in administration area
• Install additional electrical outlets in administration area
• Replace heating boiler in 200-classroom wing
• Install safety and security enhancements

2008 Bond Program Scope of Work

Repair/replace approximately 34,000 square feet of built-up roofing; replace deteriorated exterior doors, frames and hardware; replace windows at west 200-classroom wing, at north and south clerestories in PE dressing rooms, and in industrial technology area; renovate/refurbish student restrooms; replace/upgrade heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in administration area; repair/reseal north parking lot; refinish/replace lockers in boys’ and girls’ PE dressing rooms; refurbish/replace damaged interior doors and hardware; install additional outlets in administration area; replace heating boiler in 200-classroom wing.	Substantially complete.	Within budget.*		Reflective cap sheet, low flow water fixtures, thermally sealed replacement windows and high efficiency mechanical equipment will be incorporated into the project.
Drainage, ventilation and accessibility improvements.	Complete.	Within budget. Funded with 2002 bond funds.*	After field investigations, it was determined that proper drainage improvements should offset any ventilation requirements to control moisture in crawlspaces.	Environmental considerations are limited to on-site drainage projects. Care was taken to avoid excess soil erosion during construction.
Safety and security: card reader door access.	Construction phase.	Within budget.*	Board award October 2008.
Safety and security: closed circuit TV.	Construction phase.	Under budget.*	Grouped with four other schools.
Improve cafeteria/kitchen; replace dishwasher; install forced air in kitchen restroom; cover or recover ductwork.	Construction phase.		Grouped with two other schools.
Replace dishwasher.	Bid phase.*	Within budget.*	Grouped with 13 other schools.

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
