2004 Bond Program Scope of Work

• Install additional exterior security lighting

• Convert darkroom to accessibility compliant student restroom
• Replace heating, ventilation and air conditioning system equipment in cafeteria, gymnasium and administration area

Connect roof downspout to underground collector system and discharge to open areas north of building; replace defective detention pond liner and re-sod; repair/refinish exterior stucco above brick; construct art room kiln ventilation hood system; repair/re-establish detention pond re-irrigation system; replace large gym sound system. Complete. Within budget.* Grouped with Covington Middle School. All architectural renovations and materials used will conform to local, state and federal regulations with respect to environmental compliance.
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning improvements. Complete. Within budget.* Project was on hold pending main distribution frame (MDF) heating, ventilation and air conditioning pilot project at Ann Richards School; pilot project successful so moving forward. All new mechanical systems will meet and exceed the latest energy standards (ASHRAE 90.1, 2001).
Safety and security: card reader door access and closed circuit TV. Complete. Within budget.*
Accessibility compliant exterior accessible route. Complete. Under budget. Funded with 2002 bond funds.*
Replace heating, ventilation and air conditioning system equipment at cafeteria, gymnasium and administration area. Design phase. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment will be high efficiency and meet or exceed latest energy standards (ASHRAE 90.1, 2001).

*Budget for the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs are reported as both individual project budgets and overall program budget. While specific projects may be over or under budget, the 2004 and 2008 Bond Programs remain well within the total program budget.
