Employee Relations monitors adherence to Board Policies related to employee welfare and personnel-management relations.
The Employee Relations Team supports employees by providing services in the areas of formal and informal problem solving processes such as grievances, investigations, conflict coaching, team development, and mediation. Employees may request accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA) through Employee Relations as well as a variety of services through the Employee Assistance Program. In addition, the team monitors national criminal history reports and oversees the appraisal process and employee performance concerns.

Employee Assistance Program - provides free, confidential assistance with personal life problems, including but not limited to:
- Marital/Relationship issues
- Psychological/Emotional issues
- Family problems
- Legal or financial concerns
- Stress from any source
- Job-performance issues
- Drug/Alcohol- related problems
- Consultation regarding EAP options
